Kim from a young age was always passionate about baking. She received her first baking lessons by climbing on the kitchen counter watching her mom bake. Queen B Kitchen was dreamed up while working long shifts as a pastry chef in downtown Toronto. After years of producing somebody else's recipes, Kim longed to create her own, make them gluten-free and become the `Queen B’.
She began making small batches in her Kitchen Aid mixer, perfecting gluten-free versions of her favourite baked goods. Early the very next morning her husband David would deliver these gluten-free treats to cafes and fine food shops.
That’s how Queen B was born. Today our products are still made in small batches with the best ingredients we can find. Our baked goods are now certified Kosher and certified gluten-free.
As we grow giving back is important to us. A portion of each sale supports ONEXONE First Nations School Breakfast Program: which provides breakfast for children each school day in remote First Nations communities across Canada.
